The day before 4th of July Presto climbed out of his crib during his nap and fractured his wrist. The orthopedic surgeon said he most likely landed straight on this thumb and it fractured his wrist. He's the toughest kid we know so when he was wincing in pain we knew something was really wrong. I came home from work immediately and saw that his wrist was already swollen and just sort of "hanging". He was crying and saying "I just want to be haaaaaappppy"...wahhhh. This was the only time he cried. He was more scared of going to the doctor(the unknown!) He didn't cry at the ER when they took xrays or when they put the cast on him. The day after the 4th we took him to get his permanent cast and he was a hit with the nurses:) He only has to wear the hard cast for 2 weeks and actually gets it off the day before Phia's 4th b-day party!! Wohooo....just in time for the pool! He hasn't complained about it once nor has he skipped a beat(we still can't keep him off his "birthday bike"!!)

| This was definitely the most quiet we've ever seen him. He just sat on daddy's lap the whole time and didn't say a word at the ER. |
