In order to avoid buying a 3rd crib we decided to transition Phia into a princess bed before the baby comes. She was asking us about it for a few days leading up so she was VERY excited. Daddy spent all Sunday afternoon building the bed and sent mommy to the spa(love the hubs!). Leyla took the kids to Gymboree and the park so they were all worn out but not too worn out for the big reveal! Wish i could say the first night was easy. Mommy and Phia cried together in her bed. She said "I LOVE my princess bed mommy but not THAT much, can you please have Daddy move my crib back in?". The past 3 years came flooding back and it hit me that she's a big girl. She's lost her "baby fat" and is now requesting "privacy" when she goes potty. Ay yay yay. Too much for mommy but we're sooo proud of her and we're happy to say that the next 2 nights she was amazing. I bribed her with a "special treat" in her lunch at school and that was the magic bullet! She LOVES school so much that just mentioning it makes her super excited! The BEST part of it all is that she wanted NO diaper on and takes herself potty. It's so sweet to hear her littl door creek open in the middle of the night when she heads to the bathroom. She then puts herself back to bed!!! We're still in awe over the whole thing and she continues to amaze us:)

We also got her new bedding but it's being made so it'll take a few weeks!! So excited for it to come:)
Of course Presto had to get in on the action and gave us one of our favorite "ohhhhhh woooooooooow" when he saw it!
