More NYC: Snow day +Statue of Liberty

When you spend an entire week with 4 kids in NYC there is a lot to blog about! One thing we didn't initially factor in was SNOW!!! To our surprise, we woke up the morning after Easter to the entire City in a blanket of snow.  We had just be walking around Central Park a few days before with Spring like weather.  It was amazing how quickly it all changed! We were all so excited when we woke up and Kell said it would melt fast so we quickly dressed and ran to the Park.  It was still snowing when we went outside so we walked the 2 blocks while it was snowing on us! We all played around in the beautiful park in the snow for a few hours and believe it or not by the  end of the day we were sitting in Times Square in the sun! All snow had disappeared(Kell was right!!). We went  to Times Square to souvenir shop and managed the subways all by ourselves...wahooo!!! This was definitely a day to remember!  The next day(which was our last full day) we took the subway to Wall Street to catch the Staten Island Ferry for a view of Lady Liberty! It was a long day of walking in the rain but we did it!!  Oh and we snuck in another parents night out in between our snow day and our Statue of Liberty day:)
