Puerto Vallarta: Even though Mama doesn't like "wingin' it"...that's exactly what we did this time when it came to excursions off the ship! We were not exactly sure how we'd be feeling about Mexico so we waited until we docked and made our choices for the day as we went along. When we woke up in the morning we got to Puerto Vallarta we all knew one thing...we wanted some awesome Mexican food!! So we decided to get off the ship(Nana stayed on) and we immediately found a private van to take us to the best Mexican restaurant he knew of and it did NOT disappoint! It was exactly what we wanted...outdoor seating and bar, excellent food and drinks. The very best part is that the waiters loved the kids so much so they asked them to help make the tableside guacamole and salsa. I must say it was the best salsa I ever had mainly because it included huge chunks of mexican cheese say what??? The kids loved the whole process of adding all the ingredients! We then walked to the beach where we let the kids use their own money to bargain and barter with all the sales people and they did a great job. They bought trinkets for themselves and their friends. It was a perfect day and we loved exposing the kids to the culture of Mexico:)
