This is always such a hectic(but fun!) week of summer. We have the dance banquet and Wood Ranch Country Club and this year we went as a whole family!! It's a catered dinner outside on the golf course with dancing, awards, and ends with a slideshow of the year! It was even more fun with all of us there this year. Then, that weekend following is the recital. This year Phia had 8 dances and Preston had 1. It was his first time even on stage and he KILLED IT!! He loves dancing hip hop and he's already started his new classes during the week. Mommy's favorite dance of Phia's was lyrical. It was her first year taking lyrical class(you need 2 years of ballet before they'll let you take lyrical) and their dance was to "Halleluja" which makes Mommy cry every single time. We managed to sneak out for a family lunch and had a big ole mexican feast before heading back for the 2nd show in the evening. Such a long day but it's amazing to see all their hard work from the year pay off(even though Mommy is backstage the entire day).
