Disneyland...

On President's Day we packed up the kids, Nana, and Leyla for a day at Disneyland. Thankfully we have a friend who gets us ALL in for free which makes the day a whole lot less stressful. This trip was particularly special because Leyla has an annual pass and let us in on all the parade secrets. We don't usually wait around for parades but she knew what to do so we were front and center for the 11am show in front of the castle. Mickey took Sophia and Preston by the hands and danced with them! Talk about pure joy. Then the 4pm parade down Main Street(which Preston slept through despite the insane noise) we were front and center again! The princesses and characters all interact with the croud, Sophia was absolutely beside herself with excitement. Honestly we would've gone for the day JUST to see her face at this parade. Phia was VERY excited to show Presto "It's a Small World" for the first time. He's been on it before but was just a wee baby:) The kids loved Toon Town and the Tiki room, and Pirates. We took Phia on the Haunted Mansion to which she said "I don't ever want to go in there again". She had her little head buried in my shoulder the entire time poor thing. We also went to Cali Adventure in the evening for dinner and went on the rides in A Bug's Land. It was a perfect ending to a perfect day!! Phia told all her friends about it at school and both her and Presto are still singing "It's a Small World". All us ladies sported Minnie ears for the day which made us all feel like kids again:)


I hope they remember this...they were beaming with excitement! Presto wouldn't let go of Mickey's hand!

This parade was by far the biggest highlight of the day. We thought dancing with Mickey in front of the castle was the highlight until this parade! Sophia was beside herself with joy. She was so fun for us to watch! Mommy LOVES this picture of her and Daddy:)

Her excitement was not lost on the characters. Many of them came over and gave her attention...she was giddy with joy!
