Holy moly this dance season has been a whirwind! Our little dancer is on 4 teams(lyrical, jazz, tap, and Production) and has 2 solos(lyrical and jazz) and a duet(jazz with Ally). She's so super excited about all of them. Production this year has 50 members and 7 of them are considered part of the "cast" and Sophia is one of them. She plays the "Emily" character from Hocus Pocus and is so very proud!! She's brought out on stage by one of the witches and they put a spell on her. She's grown so very much as a dancer and amazes us each time she gets up on stage. She dedicates 15 hours of her school week to dancing and manages to bring home straight A's! School comes very easy to Sophia and she LOVES learning!! She's reading at a "late" 3rd grade level and we could not be more proud of her in all areas. We just got her progress report back and the part that made us most proud is her teacher said "She is an absolute joy to teach, is bright, kind, and a helpful student". So aside from great grades she's a good person!! We knew this already but we're just so proud that others see it as well:)!!!
