Cookie/Gingerbread house decorating and boat parade!

Each year we decorate gingerbread houses and cookies with the Penrod's and this year the Conner's joined in on the fun.  It was a crazy, messy, sugar fueled, day but oh so fun!! This was Olivia's first year with her own house and she did really well and was very careful when decorating her cookies.  We were all surprised that my boy were the last at the table decorating and took a lot of time and care with their houses(of course stuffing their mouths with candy along the way).  We also continued our tradition of taking the kids to the Ventura boat parade.  This year we got front row seats at a restaurant and enjoyed dinner while watching Santa fly over and the boats sail by.  Again, freezing but fun!!
