We started planning this very special weekend over the summer and some how we pulled off the biggest and best surprise ever!! My Mama said "please don't do anything for my birthday"...woopsie!! We decided we'd surprise her with those who were in town Friday night first. She thought that was it. Oh boy was she wrong. We rented a party bus to take us all to the Malibu Cafe for an afternoon of food, cake, and celebrating. Aunt Connie Jo, Uncle Tim, and David, flew in from Minnesota straight after a wedding they attended to make this special event. Brian went and picked up my Mama for what she thought was a lunch with the guests who arrived Friday night(Aunt Mary Ann, Uncle Jack, Krissi, Mac, Tyler), however when she arrived at their hotel we were all waiting in the party bus. She was in shock. Her face says it all. We had the BEST day in Malibu. The entire Tees Family joined in on the celebration too. This was such a special day celebrating my superhuman mommy!!!
