We already "celebrated" Spring Break at Disney World but now that the kiddies are actually off of school I've planned local activities for them to enjoy. Wednesday was a park day and Thursday was a trip to Griffith Park and Travel Town with our neighbors! The kids loved going inside the big trains and the train ride around the park. We then had lunch and packed up and drove to the ponies on the other side of Griffith Park. Wow. Mommy was shocked how quickly they swooped up Olivia and planted her on a pony(these ponies are not strapped to anything!) and off she went all by herself! I wasn't the only one freaked out. Olivia, once she realized she was alone, burst into tears for the entirety of the ride. Since the parents aren't allowed in the pony riding area, she had to ride all the way around until she got off! She was fine once she got off:) All the rest the of the kids got "medium" speed horses and these horses did full blown galloping!! The kids were bopping up and down and giggling. Bentley's face was so priceless. Mouth open...bouncing...half screaming. Presto and Phia loved it and immediately wanted to go again! So fun. We ended the day at the drive thru Baskin' Robbins very near the park. Mommy especially loves this part:)
