Phia can officially swim!

We didn't take any pictures yesterday but it all started in Palm Springs.  This is her mid jump by herself no floaties.  She transitioned it to jumping into the deep end by herself and swimming to the other side just this weekend!! Goooooo Phia!!

Something happened between our Palm Springs trip and this weekend...we're not sure what but we are so so proud of our big 4 year old! This Friday night we swam with all our neighbors and all of a sudden Phia wanted to jump into the deep end and swim across the pool with NO floaties by herself.  Very scary for mommy and daddy but she was ALL about it! She did it NO problem(the entire night)! She also decided she could do the back stroke and swim under water for long periods of time. She puts her face in the water, kicks her feet up and swims from one side of the pool to the other.  Our neighbors were just as shocked as us as they hadn't seen her swim in a few weeks! So amazing.  She turned 4 and turned into an Olympic swimmer. No more swim lessons...we figure they're a bit of a waste when we pretty much live at the pool and the kids are just learning naturally.  They know the basic survival skills and the rest we'll leave up to nature:) Soooo proud of Phia.  We also spent all day at the pool yesterday at the twin babies birthday where Phia was jumping into the deeep end by herself and swam underwater all day:) Such a big girl!!!
