This year we spent a much needed relaxing Christmas morning at home "as a family"(as Sophia would say). Phia was up bright and early as she was super excited about Santa. She'd stayed up very late the night before sprinkling the grass with oatmeal and glitter to guide the reindeer to our house and of course she had to leave cookies and carrots for Santa and his reindeer too!! Mr. Preston slept a full 15 hours and didn't wake up until close to noon!! He's our sleepy head and LOVES to sleep so it didn't really surprise us! Santa brought the kids a climbing gym and slide for the backyard. Sophia's highlight was definitely her Dora chair that folds out to a little bed. Don't even think about looking at it, she'll race you to it and take the whole chair in fear you may want to actually sit in it with her!! Ay yay yay!! Preston loved all the excitement. I'd say his favorite gift was a red firetruck. He's obsessed with cars and trucks of all kind...he's ALLLLL boy!!
Phia kept saying "we have to leave Santa's cookies and the reindeer's carrots by the fire" so we did just that!!
