Labor Day weekend 2010

We've been without a camera for a few weeks so we borrowed Nana's for the weekend. Labor Day weekend this year was all about Nonno's annual Chili Cook-off in Malibu and it did not disappoint. Every year he works so hard and puts so many hours into making this festival happen and this year Sophia was finally old enough to really enjoy. Free rides, parking, and entrance for the whole weekend...what more can she ask for??!! We also got a bunch of our friends in and spent Saturday eating chili and playing games with them. Sophia not only loves to go on rides all by herself, she LOVES super fast roller coasters. She was technically too young/small to go on the roller coasters but we went on with her and mommy was super scared and the entire time Sophia giggled! Sophia also loved the super tall slide which scared mommy too! She's sooooo brave for a 2 year old...almost TOO brave! She loved all the ice-cream cones and carnival food. Sunday we spent the entire day swimming. Nana provided the adult beverages and snacks for us while we swam. Monday we were back at the festival...we're already looking forward to next year!! Sophia called in "Nonno's fair":)
