We had a fantastic Friday night under the stars, listening to music and visiting the zoo animals. ALL the animals were awake! Sophia's favorite was the hippo who was "diving" in and out of the water playing with a giant ball. They had lots of food/drink stations set up throughout the zoo(our favorite was the "street tacos" and the "martini and mashed potatoes" stations. They also had a station that sold cheese and fruit skewers with different wine pairings. This was by far the best zoo experience we've ever had!! They have 3 summer nights they stay open from 6pm-9pm and we'll be there for all 3 next summer:)
