We're so behind on blogging I'm not sure where to start! We spent a week in NY with Sophia and Nana for Kelly Stevens wedding. It was Sophia's first flight and when all is said and done she did an EXCELLENT job and made us so proud. Thankfully on both legs we sat next to people who LOVE babies!! We stayed in Roslyn, Long Island which is only 20 minutes from JFK so we took 3 day trips into NYC via train and subway(VERY ambitious of us). We took a tenement tour of the Lower East Side tenements which took us inside a real tenement from the early 1900's when the immigrants were first coming into NY. Nana LOVED this!! We were also able to see my dog Boo who we've since given to our dear friends Kelly and Rob(the bride and groom). He's adjusting perfectly to the NY lifestyle and he has a view of the Statue of Liberty from his window everyday!! On our last visit into the City we had my family come out from Rhode Island for the day which was such a treat as we don't get to see them as much as we'd like to. Some other highlights were of course Magnolia Bakery for some banana pudding, a stroll down Wall Street where BT scored some awesome ties, and an afternoon at the Feast of San Gennaro in Little Italy where Sophia enjoyed her first italian meatball!!! The week of travel was topped off with the beautiful wedding of our good friends Kelly and Rob. What a perfect trip! Here are just a few pictures of our adventure:
